Job summary

Doosan Bobcat NA US is offering a Manufacturing Engineering student experience for summer 2027. The program includes co‑op and internship tracks across multiple U.S. locations, providing hands‑on exposure to capital project implementation, fabrication, and production support.

As a student, you will develop layouts, run time studies, and participate in Lean initiatives, safety, and continuous improvement while applying classroom knowledge to real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Freshman to Senior pursuing an engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 3.0 GPA preferred and willingness to commit to an 8‑month co‑op or 4‑month internship.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing layouts for capital projects.
• Develop time studies for line balancing and setup reduction.
• Assist in new product and ECN implementation.
• Create programs for lasers, plasmas, brakes and turret machines.
• Calculate cycle times.
• Assist in Lean/DFT initiatives and automation programs.
• Assist in process documentation, workflow and work-content identification.
• Assist in continual improvement of factory safety, quality, reliability and productivity.
• Assist in solution development and implementation.
• Assist in implementing the Orange Powdered System and conveyor weight capacity project.
• Support continual improvement of paint quality and reduction of defects.
