The position emphasizes standardization, defect analysis, and implementation of DFMs with suppliers, contributing to continuous improvement and risk mitigation across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Masters or Undergrad in Engineering, Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
• Understanding of manufacturing process, supplier management, and planning.
• Knowledge of lean, six sigma, kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and prioritize tasks without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support standardization of manufacturing defect characterization at incoming inspection to drive down long term defect occurrence.
• Assist in supplier development projects and coordinate actions for new supplier requirements.
• Assist in the 'Quality at the Source' program to increase yields at supplier facilities.
• Drive capacity projects to meet manufacturing and business needs.
• Proactively manage component obsolescence and monitor supplier risk.
