Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Danvers, MA is seeking a Production Engineering Co-op to join the Production Engineering team. You will support the design, development, improvement, and validation of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures, contributing to daily production needs and product quality.

Work with global, cross-functional Operations, Product Development, and Quality Assurance teams to drive Lean initiatives, process yield improvements, and documentation in compliance with GMP and ISO

Qualifications

• Pursuing an engineering degree (Junior, Senior, or graduate student).
• Prior work experience is desired; medical device experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement; Green Belt preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, improvement, and validation of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures.
• Contribute to daily production needs, defect reduction, and productivity improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to analyze trends and drive process performance.
• Assist with document control, validation plans, protocols, and reports.
• Ensure GMP, FDA QSR, and ISO standards compliance.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and stay current on developments related to Abiomed products.
