Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer Co-op in Danvers, MA to join our Supplier Engineering Team. This full-time internship role focuses on standardizing defect characterization at incoming inspection and supporting supplier-related product development efforts.

You will liaise with suppliers, contribute to Quality at the Source initiatives, and help drive capacity and obsolescence risk mitigation to meet manufacturing needs.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Interest in supplier quality and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support standardization of defect characterization at incoming inspection to drive down long term defect occurrence.
• Assist in product development projects and liaison for actions with new supplier requirements.
• Support the 'Quality at the Source' program to increase yields at the supplier and qualify quality inspections at the supplier facility.
• Drive capacity projects to meet manufacturing and business needs.
• Proactively manage component obsolescence and monitor supplier risk with mitigation plans.
