Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Supplier Development Specialist to support supplier readiness, capacity, capability, and operational performance. You will conduct on-site assessments, identify risks, and drive structured improvement actions with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in related manufacturing environments, experience with production processes and capacity analysis, advanced English, and 25–50% travel. A Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier capacity, capability, and readiness assessments across staffing, equipment, tooling, process stability, layout, flow and quality systems.
• Validate production capacity and throughput, identify bottlenecks, and support corrective actions.
• Lead on-site supplier improvement activities using Lean tools (5S, flow, standard work, visual management).
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Materials, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Performance teams to support supplier readiness and sustainable performance improvement.
