Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Supplier Performance and Data Analytics Specialist to transform procurement, delivery, quality, and capacity data into actionable insights. You will build dashboards, scorecards, and risk models to support proactive decision-making across Procurement, Materials, and Operations in a global supply chain context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Industrial/Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, or Analytics).
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, supplier development, or analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards) and Excel.
• Working knowledge of SQL and understanding of S&OP/S&OP, demand and capacity planning, and supplier KPIs (OTD, PPM, lead time).
• Excellent English and Spanish communication, with the ability to translate analytics into executive insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supplier performance scorecards, segmentation models, and KPI analytics across suppliers, sites, and commodities.
• Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards and data models with governance.
• Integrate SIOP demand forecasts with supplier capacity data to identify constraints and risks.
• Develop early-warning indicators, risk scoring models, and analytical tools for supplier performance and capacity decisions.
• Prepare executive reports for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews across multiple stakeholders.

About the role

The Supplier Performance and Data Analytics Specialist will transform procurement, delivery, quality, capacity, and demand data into actionable insights that anticipate supplier risks and protect continuity of supply. This role will develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, risk models, and analytical tools that enable proactive, data-driven decision-making across Supplier Development, SIOP, Procurement, Materials, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Supplier Performance and Data Analytics Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain supplier performance scorecards, segmentation models, and KPI analytics across suppliers, sites, and commodities.
• Design, build, and continuously improve Power BI dashboards, data models, relationships, and DAX measures while ensuring data accuracy and governance.
• Integrate SIOP demand forecasts with supplier capacity data to identify constraints, evaluate scenarios, and anticipate supply risks across a rolling 12-18-month horizon.
• Develop early-warning indicators, risk-scoring models, and analytical tools to identify supplier performance deterioration and support mitigation, capacity expansion, and dual-sourcing decisions.
• Prepare executive reports and decision-ready insights for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews with Supplier Development, Category Management, Procurement, Materials, and Operations.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, supplier development, supply or demand planning, or performance analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, dashboard development, and data visualization, as well as advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL and a solid understanding of SIOP/S&OP, demand and capacity planning, and supplier performance KPIs such as OTD, PPM, lead time, and capacity utilization.
• Advanced English and Spanish communication skills, with the ability to translate analytical findings into executive-ready insights.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience with predictive analytics or machine learning applied to supply chain or supplier-risk management.
• Experience with SAP, Snowflake, Power Automate, Tableau, LeanDNA, Smartsheet, or similar data and workflow tools.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting supplier capacity, dual-sourcing, NPI, or supply continuity initiatives.
