Qualifications

• Specialized Experience: at least 1 full year at GS-9 level in Federal Service with knowledge, skills and abilities for Supervisory Mobility Transportation Specialist - Mobility Manager.
• Education substitution: Ph.D. or three years of graduate study in related fields or LL.M. that relate to transportation management.
• Combination of education and experience: graduate study beyond second year plus specialized experience may meet requirements.
• Applicants will be evaluated on competencies: Conflict Management, Influencing, Planning and Evaluating, Supervisory, and SSJT.

Responsibilities

• Supervises VTS and BT processes to ensure regulatory compliance and program effectiveness.
• Serves as Contracting Officer Representative for transportation contracts including common carrier, SMT, ambulance and air ambulance.
• Coordinates with state and local authorities to expand transportation networks improving Veterans access to care.
• Manages transportation budget and provides guidance to Medical Center management.
