Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment seeks a dedicated warehouse supervisor to oversee storage operations and ensure the highest standards of safety, service, and quality. You will manage receiving, labeling, storage, and distribution while driving inventory accuracy and ambassador performance.

You will collaborate with leadership, handle SAP/MMS paperwork, and mentor ambassadors and supervisors to meet SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards, while maintaining a positive, engaging work

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• 1 year of leadership experience with no significant performance deficiencies in last 6 months or equivalent external experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lead multiple personnel and work independently or in a group.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in the receiving, labeling, storage, and distribution of all warehouse goods.
• Inventory quality control of merchandise and culinary products.
• Communicate daily with all levels of leadership.
• Process daily paperwork in SAP or MMS system.
• Assist Warehouse leader with training ambassadors and supervisors, ensuring SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
• Supervise ambassadors and assistant supervisors and oversee training and development.

You will supervise one or more storage venues with a focus on exceeding service, safety, and quality expectations. You will be responsible for generating significant revenue volume while also fostering a positive atmosphere and ensuring the highest level of Ambassador performance and guest service.

• Oversee and assist in the receiving, labeling, storage, and distribution of all warehouse goods.
• Responsible for inventory quality and control of merchandise and culinary products.
• Communicate daily with all levels of leadership.
• Process daily paperwork in SAP or MMS system.
• Assist Warehouse leader with the training of ambassadors and assistant supervisors while ensuring and complying with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
• Supervise and counsel ambassadors and assistant supervisors will be ensuring proper training and development in accordance with SEA guidelines.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and administer developmental documentation.
• Establish and maintain a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of ambassador engagement.
• Comply with the area opening and closing procedures and ensure all ambassadors and assistant supervisor complete tasks within a timely manner.
• Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), lifting, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for guests and ambassadors.
• Maintain and enforce company standards and policies.

What it takes to succeed:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be a focused individual who can complete tasks independently, but also possess the ability to work within a group and lead multiple personnel.
• Must be knowledgeable in all areas of the department including ambassador and supervisory roles.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.
• Must be willing to comply and ensure all ambassadors comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
