Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, Inc. in Orlando seeks Ambassadors to support warehouse operations, ensure safety, and lead training for fellow team members. You will handle merchandise flows, stock checks, and compliance with park policies.

The role requires 18+, a high school diploma, valid license, forklift and ServSafe certification preferred. Excellent communication and the ability to lift 50 lbs are essential. Benefits include park admission and employee events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Able to obtain forklift certification.
• CPR training/certification required.
• ServSafe Food Manager certification test preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work varying shifts based on park hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for ambassadors, guests, and animals.
• Develop ambassadors through training, coaching, and feedback.
• Maintain flow of goods between warehouse, support staff, and clients.
• Receive, check-in, price mark (if needed), store and transport merchandise.
• Record and dispose of non-salable merchandise.
• Maintain accurate temperature logs for storage areas.
• Provide front-line leadership on policies, procedures, and safety.
• Suggest improvements to policies and procedures.
• Take accurate stock counts to balance inventory flow.
• Minimize loss of company property and merchandise.
• Assist with warehouse cleanliness and general duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Get To Do

• Ensure a safe environment for all ambassadors, guests, and animals
• Development of ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching
• Maintain a secure, accurate and timely flow of goods and merchandise between the warehouse, internal support staff and external clientele for the parks
• Receive, check-in, price mark (if applicable), store and transport resale merchandise and supplies used by the parks
• Record and dispose of non-salable merchandise
• Maintain accurate temperature logs
• Provide front-line leadership support in the following areas: policies and procedures, personnel, security and safety of all warehouse and receiving locations
• Recommend changes (improvements) in policies and procedures relating to assigned area of responsibility
• Take accurate and timely stock counts as needed to maintain a balanced flow of goods
• Make a continuing and diligent effort to minimize the loss of company property and/or merchandise due to internal or external damage or theft
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of warehouse, to include extensive detail cleaning
• Perform other duties as assigned

What It Takes To Succeed

• At least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
• A working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Able to obtain SeaWorld forklift certification and Class D driver’s license
• Comfortable and able to work with all food types, including food allergens in any dining facility
• Able to complete and pass provided CPR training/certification
• Contingent in the successful completion of the ServSafe Food Manager certification test
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment
• Able to climb a ladder to heights up to 12 feet
• Able to communicate effectively with ambassadors, guests and leadership
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to push/pull 300 pounds with assistance
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Previous Warehouse experience preferred
• Possession or pursuit of a bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge of SAP applications preferred
