Supervisor - Travel Medical Disability Examiners - Remote

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor of the Travel Medical Disability Examiners to join our growing team! This supervisory role involves overseeing physicians and mid-level providers on the Medical Disability Exam Travel team. Responsibilities include evaluating and conducting exams for Medical Disability claims, including TBI exams for Veterans. The role requires travel within the U.S. to fixed facilities and mobile units to conduct exams. When not traveling, you will oversee team operations, establish collaborations with mid-level providers, and handle ACE and Medical Opinion requests as per contracts.

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with travel up to 50% or more. We provide a supportive environment that rewards performance, offers clear growth paths, and encourages professional development.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed MD or DO
• Unrestricted state license or the ability to obtain one in the work location
• Board certification in Psychiatry, Neurosurgery, Physiatry, or Neurology
• Ability to perform detailed work accurately, demonstrate leadership, and multitask effectively
• Availability to travel extensively for monthly assignments
• Ability to work remotely when not traveling, completing ACE and IMO exams
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Flexibility to work in various environments including mobile clinics and with homebound patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified VA Compensation and Pension Examiner
• Experience with VA disability evaluations and knowledge of VA quality standards
• Military or veteran healthcare experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience
