Supervisor - Travel Medical Disability Examiners - Remote

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor of the Travel Medical Disability Examiners to join our growing team! This role supervises physicians and mid-level providers on the Medical Disability Exam Travel team, evaluating and conducting exams for Medical Disability claims, including TBI exams for Veterans. The position requires traveling within the U.S. to fixed facilities and mobile units to conduct examinations. When not traveling, responsibilities include team oversight, establishing collaborations with mid-level providers, and completing ACE and internal Medical Opinion requests as per contracts.

This role offers remote work flexibility from anywhere in the U.S., with travel requirements of 50% or more for monthly assignments. The position provides a supportive environment with performance-based rewards, clear success metrics, and growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed MD or DO
• Current and unrestricted state license or ability to obtain licensure in the work location
• Board certification in Psychiatry, Neurosurgery, Physiatry, or Neurology
• Ability to perform detailed, accurate work and demonstrate leadership and organizational skills
• Availability to travel at least 50% for monthly assignments
• Ability to work remotely when not traveling, completing ACE and IMO exams or other duties
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Flexibility to work in various environments, including mobile clinics and with homebound patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified VA Compensation and Pension Examiner
• Experience with VA disability evaluations and knowledge of VA quality and timeliness standards
• Military or veteran healthcare experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience

The annual salary range is $269,500 to $425,500, based on full-time employment and experience. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401(k) contributions.
