Supervisor - Travel Medical Disability Examiners - Remote

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor of the Travel Medical Disability Examiners to join our growing team! This role supervises physicians and mid-level providers on the Medical Disability Exam Travel team. Responsibilities include evaluating and conducting exams for Medical Disability claims for Veterans, including TBI exams. The role requires traveling within the U.S. to fixed facilities and mobile units to conduct exams. When not traveling, you will oversee team operations, establish collaborations with mid-level providers, and complete ACE and internal Medical Opinion requests as required by contracts.

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. and involves some travel. Successful candidates will be rewarded in a performance-driven environment focused on growth and development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed MD or DO
• Current and unrestricted state license or ability to obtain licensure in the work location
• Board certification in Psychiatry, Neurosurgery, Physiatry, or Neurology
• Proven ability to perform detailed work accurately, with leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to travel 50% or more for monthly assignments
• Ability to work remotely when not traveling, completing ACE and IMO exams or other duties
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Flexibility to work in various environments, including mobile clinics and with homebound patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified VA Compensation and Pension Examiner
• Experience with VA disability evaluations and knowledge of VA quality measures
• Military or veteran healthcare experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $269,500 to $425,500 annually, based on full-time employment and experience. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
