Job summary

MITER Brands in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee department personnel, manage workflows, and control costs while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

The role requires 3–4 years of related progressive experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Shift is Monday–Friday 5am–3pm with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills to oversee department personnel to ensure work requirements are met while minimizing costs and setting department priorities.
• Gain experience in interviewing, hiring, disciplining, training, and terminating department personnel.
• Become proficient in effective communication with internal and external customers as needed. Follow up on manufacturing-related issues to completion and address concerns in a tactful and professional manner.
• Acquire knowledge of effective employee relations and how to provide coaching and development.
• Master the process of making employment decisions and resolving employee issues through problem-solving.
• Understand how to balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas, and strive for continuous improvement.
• Become familiar with supervising departmental performance measures, including visual controls.
• Provide regular progress reports to the manager and develop the ability to set department priorities.
• Help create and execute MPS objectives; meet MPS commitments and work within the guidelines of MPS.
• Reflect MITER Brands business values and philosophy in all business interactions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
