Job summary

Dycom Industries, Inc. is seeking a Telecommunications Construction Supervisor in Ohio to support project development and execution. You will supervise daily activities, ensure on-time progress, and help maintain adherence to budgets and safety standards.

This role requires field leadership and technical drafting skills. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in telecom construction, a high school diploma, proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation, and exposure to GIS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of telecommunications construction experience or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or advanced field training.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Knowledge of GIS is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• 1+ year of leadership or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and execution of projects supporting long-term strategy.
• Supervise day-to-day activities and project teams; guide project execution and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to project budgets and provide monthly variance updates.
• Identify and address project issues and risks; help develop response plans.
• Understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues.
• Supervise staff to ensure construction activities are conducted ethically and per regulations.

What you’ll do

• Assist with the development and execution of projects and plans supporting the organization's long-term strategy
• Supervise day to day activities/project teams and project progress, establish administrative guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables
• Ensure adherence to project budgets and provide updates on monthly variance reports
• Identify and course correct project issues and risks, and assist in the development of response plans to resolve
• Understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues
• Supervise staff to ensure the organization's construction activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.

What you’ll need

• You will have 2 or more years of Telecommunications construction experience or experience in a similar field
• You will have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• You may have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related industry, or advanced training in the field
• You will have working knowledge of AutoCAD/Microstation drafting software
• You may have working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs
• You may have 1 or more years of personnel and functional leadership experience and/or project management experience
