Job summary

Globe Communications LLC seeks a capable Project Manager to deliver OSP telecommunications services and manage complex projects from inception to close. You will prepare reports with KPIs, maintain documentation, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5 years of telecom project experience, with CAPM/PMP preferred. Strong analytical skills and independent work capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an industry related field or combination of education and experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience delivering OSP Telecommunications services or utility related industry.
  • CAPM or PMP Certification is a preferred.
  • Problem solver and critical thinker.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Project.
  • Understand the project life cycle as defined by PMI.
  • Ability to apply project management concepts and methodology.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidance.

Responsibilities

  • You will utilize and provide to management meaningful and timely reports using KPIs to aid project health.
  • You will develop, maintain and update project documentation.
  • You will develop and maintain program file system (physical and electronic).
  • You will contact customers to obtain project information.
  • You will complete project close-out per company standards.
  • You will track accruals weekly and report weekly.
  • You will schedule work and crew makeups with scheduler for internal and external use.
  • You will review invoices from subcontractors for production and accounting accuracy.
  • You will work with Accounts Receivable and Billing to ensure revenue accuracy.
  • You will forecast month and year for each project and program.
  • You will create purchase orders.
  • You will work with Finance & Accounting, Billing, etc. to set up projects in accounting system.
  • You will remove obstacles and empower Operations to be successful.
  • You will monitor project progress, risk and customer experience quality.
  • You will manage project level activities including critical path, procurement, resource loading, risk mitigation.
  • You will identify and resolve potential issues before they become problems.
  • You will lead efforts to gather all project status for stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • You will constantly manage and monitor project progress, risk and the quality of the customer experience
  • You will manage project level activities which include but is not limited to critical path monitoring/alignment, procurement, resource loading/forecasting/conflict resolution and critical path risk identification/mitigation
  • You will proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they become problems
  • You will lead efforts to gather all project level status to report on project status to all stakeholders
What You’ll Need
  • You have Bachelor’s Degree in an industry related field or combination of education and experience
  • You have 2 - 5 years of experience in delivering OSP Telecommunications services or utility related industry
  • You have CAPM or PMP Certification is a preferred
