Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Coffee House Supervisor to lead daily operations of the hotel coffee outlet in Teaneck, NJ. You will ensure excellent service, manage a small team, and uphold safety and brand standards across shift changes.

The role requires at least one year in customer service with leadership exposure, strong communication, and the ability to train staff, operate espresso machines, and process POS transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience with supervisory or leadership exposure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to learn quickly and operate espresso machines.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coffee outlet in the absence of the department manager, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with training, scheduling, and coaching associates to maintain performance standards and a positive team culture.
• Monitor staffing levels, opening and closing duties, and adherence to safety and service procedures.
• Ensure menu knowledge, suggestive selling, and quality standards are consistently upheld by the team.
• Support cash handling, payroll reporting, inventory control, food ordering, and waste tracking.
• Enforce safety, sanitation, and brand standards to create a safe, clean, and guest-focused environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
