Lumos is looking for a full-time Supervisor – Service Operations! If you’re experienced as a leader in telecom service operations who’s excited for a fast-paced environment, ready to help us grow, and willing to recommend process changes to optimize our technology and expand our service capabilities, we want to hear from you!

The Supervisor – Service Operations oversees employees and contractors ensuring our customers have a professional experience during onsite installations or troubleshooting, supported by the Manager – Service Operations and leadership team.

  • Must be within 30 minutes of Columbia/ Lexington, SC

Essential Functions
  • Supervise teams to meet service and quality goals, maintain budgets and SLAs, and report on service metrics.
  • Lead and manage projects, initiatives, and personnel.
  • Provide guidance on quality assurance, safety, productivity, training, and compliance.
  • Conduct field visits to assess customer service, gather feedback, and coordinate installation and repair activities.
  • Handle administrative duties including employee timesheets, contractor invoicing, and expense management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards across multiple states.
  • Manage daily operations, plan systems, and support departmental goals.
  • Support budget adherence and service quality standards.
  • Establish performance goals, evaluate employee performance, and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in departmental and cross-functional projects.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Other Experience & Requirements
  • 6+ years’ experience in Service Operations within telecommunications.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proactive, independent, and initiative-taking.
