Job Description: PeaceHealth is seeking a Supervisor Security Services for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $30.83 – $46.23. The hiring rate depends on factors such as education, training, work experience, collective bargaining agreements, seniority, etc.

The Security Supervisor oversees and coordinates the security operations of the organization, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and property while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. This role leads a team of security personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring and documenting security activities, producing reports, evaluating trends, and recommending corrective actions.
2. Ensuring departmental compliance with all regulatory agencies, authorities, and codes.
3. Collaborating with management on security technology and patient safety priorities.
4. Participating in safety/security assessments and hazard evaluations, working with the Safety Manager.
5. Managing parking programs and security for parking lots, buildings, and equipment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 3 years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, Military Security, Loss Control, or Emergency Management.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Valid Driver’s License upon hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• IAHSS-Supervisor certification within 1 year.
• Familiarity with NIMS, National Response Plan, and Incident Command System.
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and Access Database.
• Effective communication and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of DNV Standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
