Scripps Health in La Jolla is seeking a Supervisor of Interventional Radiology to join a dedicated team and advance patient-centered care. This full-time exempt role offers leadership over nursing staff and the opportunity to influence throughput and quality of care.

You will coordinate daily staffing, ensure timely use of bed placement technology, and guide patient transitions across the continuum of care while maintaining safety and ensuring seamless hand-offs to the next level of care.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to care processes for bed placement, patient transfer, and room cleaning.

As a Supervisor of Interventional Radiology, you will share leadership responsibilities for the nursing unit, including managing daily staffing plans. You will also ensure appropriate and timely use of bed placement technology (Teletracking) and adherence to care processes for bed placement/patient transfer/patient transport/room cleaning and patient discharge. Ensures the safe transition of patients thru the continuum of care to include active participation of nursing staff in planning and coordinating patient care, and direct hand-off to next appropriate level of care.With approximately 15 cases/day, this hardworking team supports each other and works toward the common goal of the best patient care possible. Once on the team, you will not want to leave.
