Job summary

Scripps Health in La Jolla (Scripps Green) is seeking a Supervisor of Interventional Radiology for a full-time exempt role. Join a dedicated team delivering patient-centered care within one of the nation’s respected health systems.

You’ll share nursing unit leadership, manage daily staffing, oversee bed placement Tech TeleTracking, and coordinate patient transfers, discharges, and related care processes to ensure safe, smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and staff-management abilities for nursing units.
• Experience coordinating bed placement and transfer processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Share leadership responsibilities for the nursing unit and manage daily staffing plans.
• Ensure timely use of bed placement technology (TeleTracking) and adherence to care processes for bed placement, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversee patient transitions along the continuum of care with nursing staff involvement.

As a Supervisor of Interventional Radiology, you will share leadership responsibilities for the nursing unit, including managing daily staffing plans. You will also ensure appropriate and timely use of bed placement technology (Teletracking) and adherence to care processes for bed placement/patient transfer/patient transport/room cleaning and patient discharge. Ensures the safe transition of patients thru the continuum of care to include active participation of nursing staff in planning and coordinating patient care, and direct hand-off to next appropriate level of care.With approximately 15 cases/day, this hardworking team supports each other and works toward the common goal of the best patient care possible. Once on the team, you will not want to leave.
