Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Supervisor for the Reconditioning Service to assist the Mechanic Shop Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising shop staff, and directing work to meet daily goals and Cox/Manheim standards.

You will supervise repairs, manage inventory, and recruit/train staff while ensuring quality and efficient processing of vehicles for sale.

Qualifications

• Experience with estimating collision repair and lot/transport damage.

Job Description

This position assists the Mechanic Shop Manager in managing and overseeing the daily operation of the mechanic shop, supervising shop employees, and directing the work in an efficient and productive manner to meet required daily goals and Manheims quality and service standards when preparing vehicles for sale.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are repaired and painted to meet Manheims standards and customer or account requirements.
• Purchase equipment, materials and supplies for the shop and oversee maintenance and protection of shop equipment.
• Maintain and develop staff by recruiting and training employees and providing educational opportunities.
• Oversee estimates for collision repair, lot damage, transport damage, etc.
• Review work volumes, planning and continuously monitoring staffing levels.
• Set an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values and ensure that all employees are treated with respect.
• Enforce all
