Job summary

Manheim is seeking a Supervisor, Reconditioning Service to support the shop manager in overseeing daily operations at our Dallas area facility. You will lead the reconditioning team, manage workflow, ensure safety, and maintain equipment readiness to deliver timely vehicle turnaround.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and collaboration with management to meet performance goals and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED plus 5+ years of related experience in vehicle reconditioning, detailing, mechanical or body shop work.
• Competent supervisory and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspection of vehicles and supervise shop employees to ensure timely completion.
• Manage workflow and activities to maintain efficient operations in the reconditioning shop.
• Ensure proper equipment is available and staff is trained.
• Communicate reconditioning goals, results, and issues with the operations manager.
• Assist manager in monitoring and evaluating employee performance and conducting appraisals.
• Use management tools to track production and post charges.
• Lead by example and ensure respectful treatment of all employees.
• Monitor use of supplies, materials, and equipment and enforce company policies.

What You'll Do

• Supervising the inspection of vehicles.
• Managing the workflow and activities of the shop employees to ensure that all vehicles are completed in a timely manner.

Who You Are

You're passionate about leadership and are comfortable delegating responsibility and planning projects. But most of all, you've got a love of cars, from the Alpha-Romeo to the Zenos.

Minimum

• HS Diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience in a related field (vehicle reconditioning, detailing, mechanical and/or body shop experience); or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Competent supervisory and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.

Preferred

• Excellent people, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Strong communication and interaction skills.
• A working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations is preferred.

MSCOX

USD 61,100.00 - 91,700.00 per year

Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $61,100.00 - $91,700.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
