Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority in Madison seeks a Supervisor, Radiation Oncology (Finance) to lead imaging and treatment units within the department, including proton therapy, and to oversee day-to-day operations of simulation and radiation therapy procedures.

You will collaborate with physicians, physicists, dosimetry, nursing and schedulers to manage patient care, and provide staff supervision for radiation therapists across simulation, photon, and proton treatment

Qualifications

• Graduate from a School of Radiation Therapy Technology required.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist required.
• Prior leadership experience in a cancer treatment center preferred.

Work Schedule

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift. Monday- Friday between the hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. No weekends required. Hours may vary based upon operational needs of the department.

Pay range is based on a full-time (100%) position.

We are seeking a Supervisor, Radiation Oncology to:

• Responsible for the leadership of imaging and treatment units of the department of Radiation Oncology at Eastpark Medical Center, including proton therapy
• Oversees day to day operation of simulation and radiation therapy treatment procedures
• Collaborates with physicians, physicists, dosimetry, nursing and schedulers on issues related to the management of patient care
• Provides staff supervision and leadership for radiation therapists in simulation, photon, and proton treatment areas

Qualifications

• Graduate from a School of Radiation Therapy Technology Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or another relevant field Preferred

Work Experience

• 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist Required
• Prior leadership experience in a cancer treatment center Preferred
• Experience with proven proficiency in curriculum design, program administration, evaluation, instruction and counseling Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Certified as a radiation therapy technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
• CMD or RTT Preferred
