Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI seeks a Radiation Therapist to operate linear accelerators and CT simulation systems such as TrueBeams, Tomotherapy, and ViewRay MRI-guided treatment under the radiation oncologist's prescription.

Job description

Work Schedule

100% FTE, day shift. Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 5:00PM availability is needed. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. 2 - 3 holiday on-call weekends required per year.

Pay

• This position may be eligible for a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus
• Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants

We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to:

• Use the most up-to-date linear accelerators and CT simulation systems including: TrueBeams, Tomotherapy, and our MRI-guided treatment machine ViewRay; as well as simulating patients in accordance with prescription and instruction of the radiation oncologist.
• Become a part of our fun, family-oriented, supportive team.
• Perform routine, complex, and specialized work as well as integration and administration of new technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School in Radiation Therapy Technology Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Certified as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Required
• CPR certification Upon Hire Required
