Job summary

UW Health University Hospital in Madison seeks a Radiation Dosimetrist Assistant to join the Finance team. This is a 100% FTE, 40-hour workweek with day shifts and occasional variation driven by departmental needs, typically Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

The role focuses on routine technical work in Radiation Oncology treatment planning and developing basic dosimetry skills, coordinating with patients, and communicating across diverse work groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School in Radiation Therapy Technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine technical work in Radiation Oncology treatment planning while cultivating basic skills.
• Manage daily tasks including patient coordination, image registrations, contouring, and inter-group communication.
• Perform ancillary dosimetry duties such as mold room tasks, creating electronic patient records, and billing for dosimetry services.

We are seeking a Radiation Dosimetrist Assistant to:

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School in Radiation Therapy Technology Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Certified as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required
