Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI, is seeking a Radiation Dosimetrist Assistant for 100% FTE, 40 hours per week with a day shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm). The role involves routine radiation oncology treatment planning, patient coordination, image registrations, contouring, and interdepartmental communication.

The position also includes mold room duties, creation of electronic patient records, and dosimetry billing responsibilities; a school graduate in Radiation Therapy Technology with ARRT

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School in Radiation Therapy Technology Required
• Certified as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required

Responsibilities

• Perform routine technical work in Radiation Oncology treatment planning.
• Manage daily tasks including patient coordination, image registrations, contouring, and communicate information to appropriately among different work groups.
• This person also performs ancillary dosimetry tasks such as mold room duties, creating electronic patient records and billing for dosimetry services.

• This person also performs ancillary dosimetry tasks such as mold room duties, creating electronic patient records and billing for dosimetry services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School in Radiation Therapy Technology Required

Licenses & Certifications
