Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking a Quality Control Field Supervisor to oversee Q/C Inspectors and ensure walkouts are completed safely, timely, and to customer standards. The role requires solid knowledge of telecommunications construction and equipment use.

You will supervise teams, review reports for accuracy, implement processes to improve efficiency, and coordinate with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related field or 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

A successful Quality Control Field Supervisor shall be responsible for oversight of one or more Q/C Inspectors; responsible for ensuring walkouts are completed safely, timely, and accurately. Ensure outside plant construction meets customer standards for both equipment use and established quality standards. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and various other telecommunications construction equipment, and the functionality of each; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
