Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking a Quality Control Field Supervisor to oversee one or more QC Inspectors, ensuring walkouts are completed safely, timely, and accurately, and that outside plant construction meets customer and quality standards.

The role requires knowledge of telecommunications construction, familiarity with aerial lift devices, and the ability to identify and troubleshoot problems while leading a field team.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related field or 3 years of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
• Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of an assigned area, department, or project.
• Review tasks and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project.
• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project.
• Additional duties as assigned.

A successful Quality Control Field Supervisor shall be responsible for oversight of one or more Q/C Inspectors; responsible for ensuring walkouts are completed safely, timely, and accurately. Ensure outside plant construction meets customer standards for both equipment use and established quality standards. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and various other telecommunications construction equipment, and the functionality of each; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
