Job summary

Lambert's Cable in Dunn, NC is seeking a Supervisor Quality Control Field to oversee field audits, ensure compliance with state laws and client contracts, and drive corrective actions through follow-up and work order sign-off.

You will mentor technicians, conduct root cause analysis of quality failures, complete required forms, and communicate findings to quality assurance and operations management. A strong background in telecommunications construction is essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of inspection experience in telecommunications.
• Knowledge of telecommunications construction and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform field audits for accuracy of marks and compliance with applicable state laws, regulations, and contractual obligations per clients.
• Conduct root cause analysis on quality failures.
• Complete all forms and documents for auditing/investigation processes and communicate findings to QA and operations management.
• Correct field risk findings and coach/mentor technicians.
• Perform QA ride-alongs with field technicians upon request.
• Assist, train and supervise field technicians assigned to you.
• Provide ongoing feedback to Field Check partner to improve quality results and reduce damages.

What you’ll do

You will perform field audits for accuracy of marks and compliance with applicable state laws, regulations, and contractual obligations per clients

You will conduct root cause analysis on quality failures

You will complete all applicable forms and documents required for the auditing and investigation processes, and communicate audits and investigation findings with quality assurance and operations management

You will correct field risk findings and coach/mentor technicians

You will perform quality assurance ride-along with field technician upon Operations Manager request

You will assist, train and supervise field technicians assigned to you

You will provide frequent and ongoing feedback to Field Check partner to improve quality results and reduce damages

What you’ll need

You will need to be 18 years of age or older

You will need a High school diploma or equivalent

You will need good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and various other telecommunications construction equipment, and the functionality of each; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.

You will need 3 years of more years of inspection experience

You will perform Other duties as assigned
