Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction LLC is seeking a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground in Lindon, UT to oversee underground telecom crews and ensure safe, timely installation and maintenance of customer equipment.

You will lead day-to-day activities, manage project progress, and coordinate with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers to meet project deliverables. The role requires relevant experience and the ability to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 3 years related work experience.
• Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and/or repair of telecommunications equipment to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and safety in completion.
• Supervise day to day activities and project progress, establish guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables.
• Ensure excellent communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist in an assigned area, department or project.
• Identify and course correct project issues and risks, and assist in the development of response plans to resolve.
• Understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues.
• Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project.
• Communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.
