Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction LLC is seeking a Quality Control Field Supervisor to oversee QC Inspectors, ensuring walkouts are completed safely, on time, and to specification in outdoor telecom construction.

The role requires a good working knowledge of telecom construction, familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and strong supervisory and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3 years related work experience.
• Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Project management skills: planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees in an assigned area, department, or project.
• Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Implement and maintain processes to assist in completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project.
• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to support an assigned area, department, or project.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Quality Control Field Supervisor is responsible for oversight of one or more QC Inspectors, ensuring walkouts are completed safely, timely, and accurately. The role ensures outside plant construction meets customer standards for equipment use and established quality standards. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction, familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and other telecom equipment, and the ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
