Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction LLC in Checotah, OK seeks a Quality Control Field Supervisor to oversee Q/C Inspectors, ensure safe walkouts, and verify telecom construction meets customer and quality standards. The role requires a solid understanding of aerial lift devices and telecom equipment, with leadership to guide project teams and ensure compliance.

You will apply telecom construction knowledge, supervise staff, review reports for accuracy, and troubleshoot issues to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 3 years of related work experience.
• Experience supervising and/or managing teams.
• Strong project management, planning, organizing, and coordinating skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment checks.

• Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of an assigned area, department, or project.
• Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project.

A successful Quality Control Field Supervisor shall be responsible for oversight of one or more Q/C Inspectors; responsible for ensuring walkouts are completed safely, timely, and accurately. Ensure outside plant construction meets customer standards for both equipment use and established quality standards. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and various other telecommunications construction equipment, and the functionality of each; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
