Job summary

International Game Technology (IGT) is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to lead assembly line shifts and coordinate cross-functional teams across global operations. You will drive production efficiency, quality, and safety while mentoring newer staff and coordinating daily objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years in manufacturing, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities, plus experience in continuous improvement and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing or related role; industry experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes; company products preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in failure investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Experience creating production/testing processes and documentation.
  • Experience with continuous improvement processes and discrepant material review.

Responsibilities

  • Leads assembly line shifts, ensuring production activities meet requirements and schedule.
  • Communicates information on quality, defects, disposition, and repair to cross-functional teams.
  • Assists in resolving part shortages or expediting production.
  • Monitors daily staffing assignments and resource needs.
  • Ensures workspace cleanliness and safety practices are followed.
  • Sets daily objectives aligned with department goals.
  • Drives continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Authors work instruction documentation for manufacturing processes.
  • Documents completion of production processes.
  • Trains and mentors less experienced team members.
  • Directs and manages direct report staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coach development.

Responsibilities

We are looking for strong leaders who can help incorporate the addition of new products, processes and materials into our lean manufacturing environment. A cross functional collaborator who will work with multiple areas serving IGT's global customer base both internal and external.

  • Leads assembly line shifts, ensuring execution of production activities and requirements; identifies resources to meet production needs, schedule, and expectations.
  • Identifies and communicates information on product quality, defect prevention, product disposition, and repair activity to cross-functional teams; escalates concerns.
  • Assists in the resolution of part shortages or expediting product.
  • Responsible for monitoring daily staffing assignments.
  • Communicates workspace cleanliness responsibilities, ensuring adequate completion.
  • Promotes proper safety practices, ensuring adherence to established safety guidelines.
  • Responsible for setting and communicating daily objectives, ensuring alignment with department goals.
  • Leads continuous improvement activities impacting manufacturing processes, procedures, and production.
  • Authors work instruction documentation for a wide variety of manufacturing processes.
  • Documents completion of production processes.
  • Assists with basic troubleshooting issues as required.
  • Trains and mentors less experienced team members.
  • Customarily and regularly directs the work and manages the personnel issues of direct report employees, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and developing staff; recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
Qualifications

Education / Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or related role; industry experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes; company products preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in failure investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to create product and testing processes and documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement processes, discrepant material review, and root cause investigation.
  • Experience providing manufacturing process and quality engineering support.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including skills, experience, education, and geographic location. These factors may result in variation in starting pay. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $70,000– $80,000 annually USD, based on a good‑faith assessment at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary. IGT complies with all applicable pay transparency and compensation laws and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is one component of IGT’s total rewards program. Depending on the role, employees may be eligible for bonus or commission opportunities. IGT also offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include a 401(k) savings plan with company contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and other wellness programs, subject to eligibility requirements.
