Job summary

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a Pharmacy Services Supervisor to lead and evaluate pharmacy technicians, schedule meetings, and implement service standards.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Under the direction of the Director, this position will supervise, coordinate, schedule, and evaluate the performance of pharmacy technicians. Responsible for creating and implementing service standards for the technicians, scheduling and convening regular technician and staff meetings. In the acute pharmacy setting, this position works closely with the pharmacy and procurement staff both to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy as well as the management of the pharmacy inventory. Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Penn State Health in its efforts to provide quality pharmaceutical care and optimal patient satisfaction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required


• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification required (PTCB, NHA, or equivalent)


• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy required


• Minimum seven (7 )years of pharmacy automation experience required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S)

• Bachelors degree preferred
