Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Supervisor of Patient Flow and Staffing to lead bed management and the capacity command center across campuses. You will collaborate with medicine, nursing, staffing, patient logistics, and operations to optimize throughput and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include directing staffing and patient logistics teams, driving real-time interventions, and overseeing performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in nursing and 2 years experience in healthcare supervision, administration, or hospital operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and ability to facilitate and lead work groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of staffing and patient logistics colleagues.
• Coordinate and expedite patient throughput and bed management across campuses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve capacity and throughput.
• Represent the capacity command center in campus operations huddles and lead system capacity discussions.
• Drive process improvements to optimize patient flow and hospital operations.
