Responsibilities

How will you make an impact?

• Manage aircraft gate planning and ramp movement control
• Oversee gate planning and ensure schedule integrity
• Communicate effectively with work groups, vendors, and management, ensuring local station requirements and safety objectives are met
• Support weight and balance planning for American Eagle flights
• Control aircraft movement in ramp/gate areas safely and efficiently to meet operational priorities
• Coordinate with Air Traffic Control to prioritize high-value flights without impacting surface movements, making decisions on holding or pushing flights
• Assist management with administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum age: 18
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or passport; some restrictions may apply
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off
• Active listening skills and the ability to understand and ask questions
• Sound judgment to resolve issues with internal and external customers
• Ability to monitor performance and implement improvements or corrective actions
• Prioritization skills with a sense of urgency and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Legal right to work in the United States
• Preferred: Previous Air Traffic Control experience, 2+ years airline operational experience including weight and balance planning, and knowledge of company programs like Ascent Aris GM, GETNG, VantagePoint
