Job summary

Phoenix House of New York seeks a Supervisor of Recovery Support to plan, supervise RSS staff, and coordinate a proactive, individualized service array for patients, while performing administrative duties to support the program.

The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, and CASAC trainee is encouraged. Two years of SUD treatment experience, strong coordination and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years’ experience in substance use disorder treatment.
  • Experience with case management and knowledge of substance abuse, mental health, housing systems is preferred.
  • Ability to supervise staff and coordinate schedules.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and crisis management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Recovery Support Staff (RSS) and document all supervisions in Relias.
  • Oversee and assign duties to Recovery Support Staff.
  • Train and onboard new RSS staff.
  • Develop the weekly RSS schedule and ensure coverage for all shifts.
  • On call after hours to RSS for emergencies and participate in monthly staff meetings.
  • Develop agendas with the Program Director and attend weekly case conferences.
