Job summary

Phoenix House of New York seeks a Recovery Support Specialist for our Wainscott residence. You will participate in shift changes, support intake, monitor attendance, and help residents follow the daily program schedule.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and CASAC-T in good standing, with at least two years in a substance use treatment setting. You may assist in the medication room and provide supervised transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee (CASAC-T) in good standing.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a substance use disorder treatment setting.

Responsibilities

• Participate and facilitate shift changes and routine program adherence.
• Monitor attendance and participation in program events and activities.
• Conduct and document room/bed checks and facility safety inspections.
• Assist in medication room and provide supervised transportation as needed.
