  • Generates standard and ad hoc credentialing reports for internal and external customers.
  • Administers the credentialing database and related physician relations modules.
  • Serves as chairperson and team leader on assigned committees.
  • Provides input for hiring, training, leading, and evaluating staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Administers the credentialing database and ensures accuracy, completion and confidentiality of material to ensure accurate data management of the credentialing process. Serves as chairperson of credentialing system steering committee in addition to leading team meetings.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
  • Designs and develops credentialing program to ensure the credentialing process is well-documented, based upon accurate and complete information, and maintained in a highly confidential manner.
  • Prepares annual audits with managed care contract delegates.
  • Co-leads monthly staff meeting to troubleshoot ongoing issues and concerns.
  • Generates standard and ad hoc credentialing reports per request by internal and external customers.
  • Administers the credentialing database and ancillary physician relations and access modules.
  • Serves as chairperson and team leader on assigned committees.
  • Provides input for hiring, training, leading, and evaluating staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
  • Associate's degree
Experience
  • Three years' credentialing experience, with two years leadership experience to include leading work teams and/or projects
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
