Job description

The Maintenance Supervisor performs complex maintenance and repairs on distribution center equipment and related facilities. Such repairs may include, but are not limited to, conveyor systems, forklifts, tow motors, lighting systems, electric motors, and safety-related systems. The incumbent has comprehensive knowledge of the operation of these systems and may be licensed in a maintenance-related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations
• Guide and develop associate mechanics
• Ensure the competence of mechanics
• Develop associate mechanics for expanded responsibilities
• Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision
• Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce operational policies and procedures
• Maintain health and safety standards
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
• Assign tasks appropriately and evaluate results
• Coach and motivate employees
• Produce reports and statistics regularly
• Receive feedback and monitor service quality

Skills

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor
