Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Supervisor of Maintenance to plan, organize, supervise and control plant operations and maintenance functions. You will ensure safe, efficient operations of HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems and grounds, while managing labor, materials and safety training.

The role requires 4 years in maintenance, with preferred project management and supervisory background, and a valid VA/NC driver's license. Travel across Hampton Roads is necessary.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required (or equivalent).
• 4 years of experience in maintenance/facilities maintenance.
• Project management experience strongly preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid VA or NC driver's license (in good standing).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, coordinate and control plant operations and maintenance activities.
• Administer labor and material controls and train maintenance personnel in safety.
• Assist in effective management practices and resource coordination.
• Travel to various Sentara facilities across Hampton Roads.
