Job summary

Sentara Health seeks a Supervisor, Maintenance to plan, organize and supervise maintenance activities across HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems to keep facilities in a safe and reliable condition. The role includes coordinating labor, materials and safety practices while leading a team.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree (or higher) and a VA/NC driver’s license with at least four years of related experience and prior supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required or equivalent.
• Virginia or North Carolina driver’s license in good standing.
• 4 years of related maintenance/facilities experience required.
• Prior supervisory or project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise maintenance activities across HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and grounds to ensure safe, reliable facilities.
• Administer labor and material controls; oversee safety training and adherence to procedures.
• Coordinate with operations to meet service levels and budget targets; supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
• Travel to multiple facilities across Hampton Roads as needed.
