Tyson Foods in the United States seeks a Maintenance Lead to oversee a team of technicians, manage preventative maintenance, and drive downtime reduction. You will ensure SQF quality management and GMP practices are followed, fostering a safety-first culture and continuous staff development.
The role requires leadership of 15 technicians, strong troubleshooting skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is a plus, with an on-site shift and competitive pay.
This position is responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance coordination, including leading and directing maintenance technicians. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff. Assist the Maintenance Manager to direct and coordinate maintenance policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Manage and oversee the preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment. Quickly assess problems to minimize downtime of production.
Must possess knowledge of SQF Quality Management policies and procedures, along with GMP practices, to ensure all maintenance employees understand and follow company policies and procedures.
Priority consideration will be given to applicants at this facility, as well as priority for internal candidates impacted due to plant closure or job elimination.

Any listed amounts represent the base pay range. Additional compensation may be available for this position based on various factors such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay is just one part of Tyson's total compensation package.
