Job Details:Resume must be submitted.SummaryThis position is responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance coordination, including leading and directing maintenance technicians. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff. Assist the Maintenance Manager to direct and coordinate maintenance policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and clean environment.Manage and oversee the preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment. Quickly assess problems to minimize downtime of production.Must possess knowledge of SQF Quality Management policies and procedures, along with GMP practices, to ensure all maintenance employees understand and follow company policies and procedures.Key RequirementsMust have the ability and experience to:Lead, direct, evaluate, and train a staff of 15 maintenance techniciansMeasure, monitor, and reduce machine downtimeDiagnose basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and electronic (PLC) problems and direct/assist with repairsPromote a "Safety First" culture amongst staffDevelop and maintain an effective preventative maintenance program for equipment and plantEducationAssociate degree or college program certificate; or5+ years related experience and training; orEquivalent combination of education and experience in a food manufacturing environmentExperience5 years of experience as a maintenance lead or supervisor with direct reportsExperience in directing, evaluating, and training maintenance techniciansCommunication SkillsMust be able to speak clearly, listen, and understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentencesAbility to express ideas and concepts clearly in writing and understand the sameComputer SkillsBasic PLC experience requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs, including:WordExcelOutlookIntermediate-level Microsoft Office skills requiredExperience with SAP is a plusPriority consideration will be given to applicants at this facility, as well as priority for internal candidates impacted due to plant closure or job elimination.Relocation Assistance Eligible:NoWork Shift:A Shift (United States of America)Pay Range/Rate:$77,000.00 - $129,000.00Incentives:Annual Incentive Plan:YesLong-Term Incentive Plan:NoCertain roles at Tyson require background checks.
