Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and environmental initiatives including employee safety engagement.
• Ensure equipment availability through effective maintenance and repairs scheduling.
• Develop and coordinate work for maintenance personnel.
• Identify process improvements and develop maintenance procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and operations management.
• Assist the Operations Manager in developing budgets and business plans.
• Monitor monthly budget for maintenance department costs.
• Manage equipment and plant maintenance procedures and costs.
• Run KPI reports, analyze data for better decision-making.
• Operate a range of heavy mobile equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Supervisor to work at our Levy NYS location in Blytheville, AR. The Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day operations of slag removal and steel mill services and/or slag and scrap processing.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and environmental initiatives including employee safety engagement; regulatory compliance and related training.
• Ensure equipment availability through effective and efficient scheduling of equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Develop, support, coordinate, assign and schedule work for maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate teams to identify process improvements and to develop and document maintenance procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and operations management.
• Assist the Operations Manager in developing budgets and business plans.
• Review monthly budget to manage maintenance department costs.
• Monitors product specifications for commercial and state applications.
• Manages equipment and plant maintenance procedures and costs.
• Runs KPI reports, analyzes data and utilizes information for better decision-making.
• Operate a range of heavy mobile equipment as required, including Water Trucks, Front End Loaders, Excavators, Haul Trucks and Dozers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
