Qualifications

• Some college or degree preferred.
• Minimum ten years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of safety/environmental regulations and controls.
• Ability to train and coordinate maintenance staff.
• Ability to interpret financial data for decisions.
• Management experience and budgeting ability.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supports safety and environmental initiatives and training.
• Leads a team of maintenance personnel for equipment and plants.
• Coordinates teams to improve processes and document maintenance procedures.
• Ensures compliance with the preventive maintenance program.
• Develops relationships with plant personnel and vendors.
• Creates maintenance systems and processes.
• Monitors budget and business plan for the dept.
• Develops and tracks KPIs and performs reporting.
• Acts as project manager for major repairs or installs.
• Evaluates capital expenditure feasibility and audits work.

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Maintenance Manager to work at our Levy Big River location in Osceola, AR. The Maintenance Manager Responsible for managing the maintenance program for mobile equipment, plants, and facilities

Responsibilities

• Supports safety and environmental initiatives including employee safety engagement, regulatory compliance and related training
• Develops, trains and facilitates a team of equipment and plant maintenance personnel
• Coordinates teams to identify process improvements and to develop and document maintenance procedures
• Ensures compliance with the preventive maintenance program
• Cultivates relationships with steel mill personnel, vendors and other management personnel
• Develops maintenance systems and processes
• Develops and monitors the Maintenance Department’s budget and business plan
• Responsible for developing, assessing and meeting KPIs
• Runs KPI reports, analyzes data and utilizes information for better decision‑making
• Acts as project manager for significant repair, rebuild or installation activitiesEvaluates feasibility of capital expenditures
• Audits processes and inspects work as necessary
• Provides reporting and recordkeeping as required
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned by manager

Skills

• Some college or degree preferred

• Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations and ability to implement related programs and controls
• Ability to train, support and coordinate maintenance personnel
