Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience in management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in waste processing or related field.
• 8-hour DOT Certification Training (or ability to complete).
• 10-hour OSHA Training (or ability to complete).
• 8-hour HAZWOPER Training (or ability to complete).
• Must be computer proficient and able to operate Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable operation of the facility and coordinate activities across departments and contractors.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Issue safety permits as applicable and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Supervise a team to ensure safety, compliance, and policy adherence.
• Conduct shift audits, daily, weekly, and monthly verifications; maintain records.
• Respond to injuries or accidents and perform basic problem solving of operational issues.

Apply today!**About the role****Job Description**The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the safe, reliable, and proper operation of the facility. The Shift Supervisor would provide coordination of all plant activities between numerous departments and contractors. Position Responsibilities* Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel at the facility.* Proper execution of safety policies and procedures.* Issue safety permits, as applicable.* Coordinate maintenance activities with facility maintenance department.* Maximize operational performance and efficiency in all aspects of the facility.* Train and develop employees on proper process and protocol.* Maintain working area within all environmental limits and permits.* Supervise a team of employees to ensure safety, compliance, and policies are being followed.* Maintain administrative records and hold employees accountable.* Ability to respond to any injuries or accidents.* Problem solve and troubleshoot plant operational issues.* Direct completion of shift, daily, weekly, and monthly audits and verifications.* Other duties as assigned.
