Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for daily laboratory operations and supervision of personnel. Performs clinical testing, investigates issues, reviews quality assurance, provides employee instruction, and communicates with the Laboratory Manager. Capable of making management decisions in the absence of the Manager. Ensures care for all age groups and performs assigned tasks within scope of training.

• Familiar with all laboratory testing.
• May be assigned CLIA General Supervisor duties.
• Knowledge of growth and development principles.
• Ability to perform competencies as per validation checklists.
• Meets performance goals.
• Courteous and cooperative with customers and coworkers.

Qualifications needed:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution.
• CLIA MT/CLS certification preferred.
• 5-10 years of leadership experience preferred, with good communication and basic computer skills.
