Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a seasoned IT program manager to coordinate and lead a small team delivering enabling information technology solutions and services across healthcare operations.

You will manage recruitment, staffing, budgets, vendor relationships, and drive performance improvement using CCHS methodologies, ensuring on-site delivery and alignment with IT and healthcare leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in a related discipline.
• 4+ years of project and/or resource management experience.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary projects, systems and/or teams.
• Must be within a commutable distance for frequent on-site work.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead activities and performance of staff within a small team focused on implementing and supporting enabling information technology solutions and services.
• Lead small teams, including managing recruitment, retention, staffing plans, and performance accountability.
• Manage operational readiness of existing systems and services.
• Resolve resource, timing, financial, and sequencing barriers between multiple projects and project teams.
• Develop and maintain communication lines with IT leaders and staff and appropriate CCHS leaders and staff.
• Present organizational communication and education related to areas of responsibility.
• Lead organizational and departmental performance improvement activities.
• Pursue continuing professional development to increase understanding of assigned areas, IT direction, and healthcare direction.
• Manage projects using CCHS-specific project management methodology to deliver technology that drives business and clinical benefit.
• Develop and manage budgets for specific projects.
• Manage vendor relationships within project-specific work.
• Provide an intake mechanism for organizational ideas and guide champions through initial project management stages.
• Coordinate handoff to the appropriate project manager.
• Perform other duties as required.
