Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor-I to lead the Transitional Support Services (TSS) team in Western Massachusetts. The role focuses on supervising Recovery Specialists, ensuring quality care, and participating in on-call rotations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of supervisory experience, strong critical thinking, and proficiency with MS Office. A sobriety period of two years is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to Recovery Specialists, ensuring the provision of quality care that incorporates a clinical understanding of related health care issues.
  • Take part in on-call rotation.
  • Support the ongoing development of staff through coaching, mentoring, and role modeling.
  • Maintain oversight of the medication room in collaboration with the program-designated nurse, when applicable.
  • Assist in the selection of staff and resolution of personnel issues.
  • Assist in coaching and counseling of employees under the direction of the Program Director.
  • Oversee client activities.
  • Facilitate the efficient delivery of individual care through interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Maintain verbal and written communication with staff members as appropriate.
  • Recognize and adhere to regulations and requirements of licensing and funding sources.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, in-services, and mandatory trainings.

What You Will Do
